What are your duties as a volunteer in Germany?

The idea of these programs in Germany is to help educate people by devoting your skills, experiences, and knowledge. You will focus on enhancing their language skills such as conversational, grammar and academic writing. You will also take part in workshops focusing on CV writing, employment skills, and many other areas. In addition, you will receive three hours a week of your choice between Arabic or German lessons. You may also practice your language skills either with local Germans or with the refugees who mostly come from Arabic countries.

When and for how long can I volunteer in Germany?

Volunteer in Germany programs offered by the Excellence center are very flexible and allow volunteers to work around other commitments. Volunteers may also choose when they begin and finish their volunteer term whenever it suits them best, so long as it reaches the minimum required length of the program.
