What are your duties as a volunteer in Germany?

The idea of these programs in Germany is to help educate people by devoting your skills, experiences, and knowledge. You will focus on enhancing their language skills such as conversational, grammar and academic writing. You will also take part in workshops focusing on CV writing, employment skills, and many other areas. You will also have the opportunity to participate in community activities which allow foreigners and locals to interact and explore cultural differences and aspects such as food, lifestyle and many more.

When and for how long can I volunteer in Germany?

Volunteer in Germany programs offered by the Excellence center are very flexible and allow volunteers to work around other commitments. Volunteers may also choose when they begin and finish their volunteer term whenever it suits them best, so long as it reaches the minimum required length of the program. Who can apply to these programs?

Applicants must be between 18 – 70 years old to participate in the volunteer programs, while no prior experience or certificate is required.

Do I need to speak Arabic or German to apply?

No, speaking Arabic or German is not required in order to participate in these programs, however, speaking English is necessary for applicants wishing to volunteer.
