Do I need a visa to intern in Germany?
In order to intern in Germany:
- You probably won’t need to have or obtain a special kind of visa, a tourist visa which can be valid up to three months is enough.
- Citizens of many country can enter Germany without applying for a visa prior to their departure. This means that they get a three-month visa upon their arrival.
- Other countries might be required to apply for a tourist visa in order to come to Germany and join the program. (Check the requirements to enter Germany with your passport/citizenship.)
