Time & Duration
The Excellence Center in Europe welcomes students, English native and non-native speakers, and people from all countries who are 18 to 70 years old to join any of the Center’s volunteer, internship and Arabic programs.
The period of participation can span anywhere from 1 to 13 weeks. For volunteers, interns, and students, the EC’s program flexibility is designed to work around their schedules, with programs being available year-round (Spring, Summer, Fall, Winter), as well as starting and ending dates up to the participant’s choice!

What are the fees for one-week volunteering at the center and what includes?

The Excellence center in Europe offer short-term volunteer programs starting form 250 euros a week. The fees you pay include the following:
- Arrangements regarding the program.
- Accomodation. This means you either stay with a host family or in a shared room in the city of Halle.
- Daily breakfast at the center with other volunteers and interns.
- A tour in the city of Halle where you get to know the city, its history and landscapes.
- Three hours of either Arabic or German per week.
- A certificate of completion at the end of the program.

Do I need to apply for a special visa to do short-term volunteering Europe-Germany? | No. You don’t need to. A Tourist visa is enough, the visa can last up to three months. |
Do I have to speak either Arabic or German to do one-week volunteering in Europe-Germany? | No. You will get three hours of Arabic or German a week. |
What type of Arabic will I be studying? | You can choose to study either Modern-Standard Arabic or Spoken Arabic known as “Amiya” or a combination of both of them. |
