Integration in Germany Program: Would you like to visit Germany and learn about German culture and lifestyle? How would you like to meet refugees who have fled war-torn countries for Germany for its safety? Are you interested in learning how the refugees in Halle adapt to life in Germany? Would you like to know more about the process of assimilation  and the challenges faced by these refugees? If your answers are yes, then read on to learn about our program, which, we feel, will satisfy your interests.

Germany, more than any other country in Europe, has hosted the largest number of refugees fleeing their homelands that have been reduced to war and chaos. This significant flow of refugees, especially Syrians, in recent years, has put the German government in a very challenged situation. The Government has devised strategies, plans, and regulations to enable refugees to assimilate more easily into Germany society. Strategies include offering refugees free German language courses so that they may more easily achieve their assimilation.

The Integration in Germany Program is an ideal opportunity to learn about the assimilation process, as well as the plans and policies implemented by the German government nationwide to achieve assimilation of refugees. This program offers you an opportunity to learn the effectiveness of such policies in reaching their goals.

Which Airport Should I fly to?

The easiest way to get to the Excellence Center in Halle, Germany is to fly to Leipzig/Halle Airport. It takes about 25 minutes from the airport to the Center via train.

If you are coming from one of the Berlin airports, you have two ways to get the Center. You may come by bus run by companies, such as FlixBus or Meinfernbus, which takes about two hours. Your second choice is to come by a train from Berlin-Central station which takes about one and a half hours.
