These desires are often restricted due to a lack of extra funds or a limited amount of funds available to finance such desires and plans. The Excellence Center Europe is an organization offering volunteer opportunities at very affordable prices. The Center has gained extensive experience for over eight years in organizing volunteer and internship programs for international volunteers and interns from around the world.
Where is the Excellence Center located?
The Excellence Center Europe is located in Halle (Halle/Saale), the largest city of the state of Sachsen-Anhalt. To the south of Halle is the River Saale. Halle is about one to two hours northwest of Leipzig and Dresden.
What are the volunteer program costs?
One week’s participation in a volunteer program costs 250 € (euros)
How long do volunteer programs with the Excellence Center last?
At the Excellence Center Europe you are able to volunteer from three days up to three months. Additionally, volunteer programs are flexible, which means that you choose when to start and end your volunteering period. You may apply to a program year around.
What are the benefits to volunteers at the Excellence Center?
You will have the opportunity to participate in the social and educational activities organized by the Center, and to participate in the tours organized by the Center in the city of Halle, such as the Renaissance Castle, and other historic sites and venues.
Who is eligible to apply to a volunteer program?
The volunteer programs are open to people between the ages of 18 to 70. Applicants are accepted from any academic discipline or work history experience. Those who are 16 or 17 years old are also welcome to apply; however, a parental consent form signed by at least one of the parents is accepted (please check your country’s laws on international travel for minors and their participation in a foreign country’s organizations).
