Arabic Courses in Germany: Germany may be one of the last places you think you can study Arabic. At the Excellence Center, we offer different language-learning options for individuals who want to study Arabic. Those options include our Intensive Arabic Course, our Arabic Individual Course, and our Vocational Arabic Program. The Intensive Arabic Course in Germany is a program that ranges from 1 month to 3 months. It is a group program, which means that participants will be learning Arabic with other students in a classroom setting. Typically, four or five students are in one class. Because of the small size, students still get the individual attention they need when trying to learn and improve their language skills. One benefit of this course is that students participate in many interactive activities with their classmates that will advance their conversational skills.

While there are many benefits to the Arabic group classroom setting in Germany, we know that some students prefer studying language alone. For students that prefer one-to-one classes with their teacher, the Arabic Individual Course is the one for you. In addition to the differences in class size, these two programs differ in duration. Whereas the Intensive Arabic Course (group class) in Germany ranges from 1 month to 3 months, the Arabic Individual Course can be organized for as little as 1 week to as long as 3 months. If you do not have the time or resources to study Arabic in Germany for 1 month, then the private classes will be the best fit for you because you can study for 1 week, 2 weeks, or 3 weeks. Of course, you are welcome to participate in this program for as long as 3 months as well.

Another option at the Excellence Center is to participate in the Vocational Arabic Program. The duration of this program is 1-20 days. This is a customized Arabic course in Germany in which individuals can study language alongside other subjects. Some of these other subjects can include politics, religious studies, media, law, etc. The program may be of particular interest to undergraduate or graduate students who are enrolled in a Political Science, Islamic Studies, or Middle Eastern Studies program.
