Intensive German Course: The Excellence Center in Europe offers language-intensive courses that enable you to achieve your personal, language-learning goals quickly. Here at the Excellence Center, you will receive language training in a small group setting. These courses have an average of 15 students in them. The classes are dedicated to addressing the most important aspects of your language needs. Over a short period of time, by practicing what you learn daily, can greatly improve your language skills.
Who can apply to the course?
This course is for all who want to learn the German language. No matter what your motivations are or what your level of German is, this course is for you. Our teachers will be there to help to make your learning process as enjoyable as possible. Here, you learn German with a group of students (15-20 students). The small group setting allows you to share ideas with other students and put your language skills to use by the means of interactive activities.
The levels of German Language
– Starter Course (Basics): This course is designed for those who don’t have any knowledge of German. The course starts with learning the basics of German, where you will gain skills in reading, writing, and conversing in small dialogues.
– Beginner Course: If you have basic knowledge of German, then this course fits you well. In the beginner course, you will be able to improve your writing, reading, listening, and speaking skills.
– Intermediate Course: This course will help you get your German skills to a higher level by improving your conversational skills. In the intermediate course, there is a high concentration on conducting conversations with native German speakers. Not only this. but during this course you will also develop other skills, such as reading, writing, and listening.
– Advanced Course: You are almost there. In this course, students will be concentrating on rectifying any of their language mistakes. The goal is to reach fluency in German by the end of the course.
The location of the course
The regular courses are held at the beginning of each month as shown below.
The cost will include breakfast, the accommodation, German classes, and some visits to different landmarks and sites in the city. Some of these visits include trips to the Arab neighborhood, the refugee dorms, public parks, and historical sites in the city.
If you have previous knowledge of the German language, then taking a Placement test will be necessary in order to evaluate your level of German. Participants with zero knowledge of German will automatically begin with our starter German course. Our courses concentrate mainly on the four language skills of speaking, reading, writing, and listening skills.

Which Airport Should I fly to?
The easiest way to get to the Excellence Center in Germany is to fly to Leipzig/Halle Airport. It takes about 25 minutes to get from the airport to the Excellence Center via train.
If you are coming from one of the Berlin airports, then you have two ways to get the Excellence Center. First is to come by bus. You can take a bus operated by companies such as FlixBus or Eurolines. The bus ride takes about two hours. The second choice is to come by train from the Berlin-Central Station. The train ride takes around an hour and a half.
If you are coming from a European country that has signed the Schengen agreement, then you do not need a visa to enter Germany. For those who come from countries that are a part of this program, you are permitted to stay in Germany for up to three months.
All other travelers will need to apply for a Schengen visa to enter Germany. This visa will allow you to enter and stay in Germany for a maximum period of 3 months (90 days). It is important to note that this visa prohibits visa-holders from getting a job (even as a freelance) during their stay.
