Volunteer Programs for Americans in Germany in 2019

Volunteer Programs for Americans in Germany in 2019: If you are an American, would you like to join a volunteer program in Germany in order to learn about refugees? Do you feel an eagerness and commitment to help refugees by using your skills, experiences, talents, and abilities? If your answers are yes, read on to learn details.

Germany is a country that is comprised of diversity similar to the USA. The refugees emigrating and residing in Germany face challenges in learning a new cultural environment and a new language.  Because many refugees come from countries lacking strong educational systems, refugees find themselves at a disadvantage competing with Germans and others in the work market.

American volunteers in Germany are equipped with education, talents, and work experience that will enable refugees to tackle their challenges in acquiring new cultural and language skills that will strengthen refugee talents, education, and work and life experiences. As a result, refugees can assimilate more easily and contribute positively to their own futures, as well as Germany’s.

Volunteers teach refugees English language skills, employment skills, writing skills, life skills, and any other skills or experiences a refugee may need to succeed.  Whatever your skills, an American volunteer can directly influence successful outcomes for refugees.
