Best Volunteer and Internship Programs in Germany: To anyone looking to gain language teaching experience; learn more about other cultures; take part in volunteer and internship programs in Germany; or challenge themselves, all while making a tangible difference in a community, the Excellence Center in Europe in Halle (Saale), Germany is a place where all these things can be achieved. Through its dual missions as a language school and community center, the Excellence Center in Europe serves an important communal role, providing language services to refugees and migrants for little to no charge. However, the ability of the Excellence Center in Europe to do this would be impossible without its enthusiastic and capable volunteers who provide the irreplaceable communal service of language instructor, mentor, and cultural ambassador.

The importance of volunteer work in Germany cannot be overstated, for it is often the case that many migrants face communal discrimination, barriers to accessing schools, and other opportunities for advancement denied to them because of their status. This is not to say that Halle is not a welcoming place for refugees and migrants, but rather that there are unfortunate cases where discrimination denies people willing and eager to learn the opportunity to do so. What separates this program from other volunteer programs in Germany is its strict and focused commitment to aiding refugees and migrants with their language needs. This is where you come in.

Articles are meant to reach a wide range of people: students; other prospecting volunteers; those seeking more knowledge about refugees and migrants, as well as Arabic communities and culture; the activities of the Center; or those simply looking for inspiration. Because volunteer’s articles will have a broad audience, their writing should reflect such.
