Riley Loftus/USA
Riley graduated from James Madison University in 2017 with a B.S. in Justice Studies and a concentration in Global Justice. During her studies, she volunteered at a refugee resettlement agency, engaged with international students, and participated in various cross-cultural projects. Passionate about peace-building in conflict zones, it is Riley’s personal belief that interactions between people of different cultures and backgrounds is crucial to dissolving barriers and developing empathy and understanding among individuals.
Having studied abroad in India, lived in Palestine, and participated in voluntary work in Central America, Riley brings perspective to conversations about cross-cultural exchange. With a heart close to marginalized and vulnerable populations, she looks forward to a future in the humanitarian sector, namely working in areas of conflict.
