How to Get a Summer Internship in Germany: The Excellence Center in Europe offers 1-3 months of summer internships to international students from all over the world who would like to come to intern in Germany for a short time. This great opportunity allows you to get a practical work experience, meet a lot of new people, learn about Germany and German lifestyle. Additionally, this internship will help provide you with references for future job opportunities and boost your resume.

If you want to learn the German language while simultaneously getting to know the German culture, then this internship program is what you are looking for. As an intern in Germany with the Excellence Center in Europe in summer, you will be able to be a part of our community activities with locals, refugees, and other internationals in the city of Halle (Saale)

Not only this, but interns have the opportunity to visit local sites in the city of Halle and explore the rich history of the city as well as living with a German host family will be another experience that gives interns a closer look into German culture during their stay in Halle (Saale).

Internship Location: Steinweg 56, 06110, Halle (Saale), Germany

Internship Dates: 1st of May to the 30th of September 2019. The starting and ending dates are flexible based on the intern’s availability.

Internship Cost: 1250 Euro – This fee covers the intern’s housing, breakfast at the center, tours in the city, language course, and evening student activities. The selected intern is required to show proof of health insurance for the duration of the internship program in Germany.

Total Internship Hours: Approximately  176 (6 hours per day, 5 days per week, may include weekend days)

Housing during the internship in Germany: The international intern will be housed either with a host family, international or German students in a shared apartment in the city of Halle (Saale).
