Arabic Individual Course in Germany: The Excellence Center in Europe offers you the opportunity to study Arabic in Germany. Though Germany may not be an Arabic-speaking country, our Center prioritizes cultivating an authentic Arabic atmosphere and culture for our students to learn in. The Study Arabic One-to-One Program is specifically designed for those who prefer learning in person, as opposed to learning online through our online Arabic courses. The One-to-One program gives students the opportunity to study in person with their Arabic teacher

Participating in our One-to-One program will provide students with the individualized attention they need when learning a new language. Having face-to-face interactions with your Arabic teacher will allow for personalized lesson plans, greater feedback, and more communication that will all help to improve your language skills. The One-to-One program will also give you the chance to discuss matters such as the instructor’s teaching techniques, class timing, resources and materials used, and the aim of the class according to the student’s interest.

Above all, this one-to-one student-teacher relationship will allow the class to be structured around the student’s language needs. Materials provided for our Arabic students focus on their specific needs, which may include reading, writing, speaking, or listening. We meet individuals where they are in their language-learning journey to customize a program just for them.

  • Who Teaches the One-to-One Program?

Our well-qualified teachers at the Excellence Center speak excellent Arabic and fluent English. Their knowledge of both Arabic and English will help you to easily communicate with them.

  • When Do the One-to-One Classes Take Place?

The One-to-One program gives you, as the student, the flexibility to determine the start and end date of your program. Students have the chance to arrange their schedule of Arabic classes in coordination with the Center’s administration. Classes can be arranged from one week up to three months. These classes take place Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM – 12:30 PM.

  • Where Do I Live While Taking Arabic Classes?

  • What Do I Do When I Am Not Studying Arabic?

Beside studying Arabic, there are many things to do here in Germany. As a student, you will have the chance to participate in our social, cultural, and community activities with Arabs in Leipzig, including activities with Arab refugees.

The Center also organizes visits and trips to neighboring cities. These trips afford students the opportunity to get to know many of historical and cultural sites in Germany. In addition, Leipzig alone is a city full of cafés, restaurants, bars and night clubs, and public parks where you can spend your free time. All that to say, there are many things to do and places to explore when you are not studying Arabic at the Center.

  • Which Airport Should I Fly Into?

The easiest way to get to the Excellence Center in Germany is to fly to Leipzig/Halle Airport. It takes about 25 minutes to get from the airport to the Excellence Center via train.

If you are coming from one of the Berlin airports, then you have two ways to get the Excellence Center. First is to come by bus. You can take a bus operated by companies such as FlixBus or Eurolines. The bus ride takes about two hours. The second choice is to come by train from the Berlin-Central Station. The train ride takes around an hour and a half.

  • Do I Need a Visa?

If you are coming from a European country that has signed the Schengen agreement, then you do not need a visa to enter Germany. For those who come from countries that are a part of this program, you are permitted to stay in Germany for up to three months.

All other travelers will need to apply for a Schengen visa to enter Germany. This visa will allow you to enter and stay in Germany for a maximum period of 3 months (90 days). It is important to note that this visa prohibits visa-holders from getting a job (even as a freelance) during their stay.
